A Race Benefiting Warrior2Citizen
The Home for the Holidays 5K occurred Saturday, December 3rd, 2016. The run/walk was held on the Silver Comet Trail, starting and ending at the Hiram Trail Head. The objective of this event is to address and raise awareness of the unique transition issues returning veterans have including: morale injury, relocating, finding employment, adjusting to family life, recreating their identity from soldier to civilian and re-establishing relationships.
